LANDSCAPE PARK ON PARKING GARAGE

On the former factory site of Serp I Molot a new development was projected by Moscow’s leading development company DonStroy. AM Proektus architecture office designed a ring of residential towers defining a central green field with underneath it a very large parking garage for three thousand cars and other daily necessities and services. For this 5000 future inhabitants project. LAP Landscape & Urban Design was commissioned in the beginning of the year 2013 to design a landscape park on top of this parking garage with its all installations.

FOCUSSING ON THE PUBLIC STREET

The concept stage landscape design proposal focussed on a public street through the city block with a small circular pond in the center placed optimal to the insolation. Iconicely integrating the parking garage fire hazard installations with a botanical plan created a surrealistic garden in the center of the residential tower ring providing a sublime panoramic views over the vertical landscape of the park. The design let to the selecting for the SIM II international competition stage.
