14 December 2013

Blauwe Kamer, the Yearbook of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design 2013 selected LAPLAB in the selected Top 7 of the new professionals! In the yearbook of 2013 there are 27 selected special projects! The project 'The Constellation', a summer and wintercity with art sculpture garden in the deep Russian Wildernis, was published on 14 september 2013.

A small glimpse into the publication:
"For an art festival in the Russian wilderness designed LAP Landscape & Urban Design clusters of residential buildings and artists' studios. The plan is capable of withstanding the extreme conditions on the area. For a Dutch design team these circumstances are unbelievable on the 140 ha. of natural landscape terrain. In the surrounding little villages are no prospective facilities, such as electricity, sewerage system or internet. This primitive context was the starting point for the Architecture and Urban design. Sander Lap and the design team located the dwellings and accommodation buildings like stars in the firmament. All of these elements are based on the detailed analysis of the climate and landscape. Some of the buildings are self-sufficient to provide in the necessary requirements!"

We are very happy to mention that this project is published and our company is mentioned as one of the new professional offices in The Netherlands. To see more about the Project 'The constellation' in Nikola-Lenivets, Russia. You could find the project description in all projects.
